Information for Seniors

Senior Final Transcript Request

Seniors must complete the final transcript request before graduation. The request must be completed on the appropriate form. Once the final transcript request has been turned in, the transcript will be sent to the institution once all grades have been verified and fees paid. 

Graduation Ceremony Preparation

The preferred dress code for this event is:

Young Men

Solid black dress shoes

Solid black or dark-grey dress pants

White button down dress shirt (short or long sleeves)

**Rationale - the men's shows, pants, and shirt will show from underneath the gown

Young Ladies

Solid black dress shoes must be worn during the ceremony (flats or chunky heels are recommended)

an appropriate dress or skirt and a dress shirt or solid black or dark gray pants and a dress shirt

**Rationale - The ladies' dress or skirt will not show from underneath the gown. If she chooese to wear pants, they will show and thus need to be black or dark gray. Each lady will wear a white collar on the gown.

If you child is inappropriately dressed, he/she will not be allowed to participate in the graduation ceremony. If for some reason you are unable to secure proper attire for the ceremony, please contact Giles County High School administration.
