Vickie Tucker

My name is Vickie Tucker.  I am a mother of two and a grandmother of six  I have been an educator for 28 years and have taught in Giles County for 19 of those years.  I taught 3rd grade for 10 years at Southside Elementary.  I have been teaching ESL (English Second Language) for 9 years.  I not only teach ESL here at Giles County High School, but I also presently teach ESL at Pulaski Elementary and Minor Hill.  I received my bachelor's degree from MTSU and my endorsement for ESL from UT Martin.  I truly have taught in some capacity for my entire adult life.  (Even before teaching in the classroom, I taught piano for 10 years.)  I truly love teaching, and I am proud to be a part of the Giles County school system.
