Lisa Lambert

Hello, My name is Lisa Lambert, and I am the Junior / Senior School Counselor at Giles County High School. I am starting my third year as a school counselor at GCHS and all I can say is that I love my job. Every year starts off as new and exciting, and as graduation looms on the horizon, it turns bittersweet. Part of my job is making sure the students are aware of their future potential after graduation such as going to college or attending a technical school or even joining the military. This means, working individually with the seniors from the beginning of their senior year to the last day of graduation, knowing the academic success and progression of maturity each student has made fills my heart with pride. These GCHS students, who started here four years ago as young freshmen, leave here as mature young men and women who will be going out in the real world becoming resourceful and contributing members of our society. I am just a small part of this moment.
