Ashley Daly

I hope you and your family are off to a great start in the school year!  This is my fifth year at Giles County High School as a school counselor.  I have been in education for 25+ years with nineteen of them as a media specialist, and the rest as a school counselor.  I am excited to be working with you and your student.  I am here to help your child explore post-secondary goals, including college, workforce, military, or other plans  and to help with scheduling appropriate course work to achieve these goals.

My undergraduate studies were at Martin Methodist College (Associate in Arts) and Athens State University (Bachelor of Science in Psychology).  I have a Master of Education in Secondary Guidance and Counseling from Middle Tennessee State University, a Master of Science in Library and Information Studies from the University of Alabama,  and an Educational Specialist in Curriculum and Instruction from Middle Tennessee State University.  I have always enjoyed school and being a student and I strive to share that love with my students.

I grew up in Lincoln County but have lived in Giles County for the past 25+ years.  I enjoy sports, reading, and travel.  I look forward to a great school year with your student.  I am here to help and support in any way I can.  Please feel free to give me a call or send me an email.
